The US Darkwave act was THEEE revelation on Young & Cold this year! Unlike so many other Bands in the scene, this Florida based duo not only produces a refreshing electro sound, but also produced a number of highly enjoyable videoclips for this album, and the CD (released in march) got overwhelming reviews from fans and press alike!
The mixture of Darkwave, Synthwave and Minimal-Synthpop catches the listeners’ attention at once! The influences are varied: the opener “Ambers” reminds of Hante, while “After Light” has a lot of Clan Of Xymox in it. "Howling" is purest Dark Electro with some weird sounds and "Reflection" or "Feeling Inside" are reminiscent of finest Future-Pop of the early 2000s. These Americans are making their own thing out of everything, Electronic music has spawnedsince the 1980s. Everything from atmospheric soundscapes and dark dancefloor rhythms to catchy Electro-Pop. A band with a bright future I predict!
